A treasured gift to remember a loved one; perhaps a friend or sister? Framed by a border of tiny split wild 'seed' Pearls around a Rock Crystal locket section which holds a braided strand of lightest mousey brown hair... such pieces would have been so important in an age of horse drawn travel when distances seemed much greater than they do to us now. A precious touchstone this little pin would have been a comfort and kept memories close. 

Circa 1820, in 9ct Gold with a silver setting, it measures 2.2cm by 14mm and all is in lovely original condition.
